Chub Fishery Disappearing

Six species of chub fish once lurked in the deep waters of Lake Michigan.  Today, only one remains.  The Hoyi chubs population has decreased 99 percent in the past 20 years.  Great Lake biologists are trying to understand what is causing the precipitous decline of the chub, a prized smoked fish.
